I have started packing for our 2 week holiday in the Eastern Cape, so I thought I’d share a few of my holiday essentials with you. If you still have the task of packing ahead of you, this post may give you some inspiration
I NEVER dress up on holiday – that’s what I love about it, (for example the only make-up I take with me is mascara which, if used at all, will be worn on New Year’s Eve, that is if we go to a party of sorts.) The only accessories I’ll be taking along are my Missibaba earrings, and my Forever New neon necklace, both are fun and holiday-ish.The stripy shorts are from Woolworths, I’ll probably only ever wear them to the beach as they’re so short, but I love them. The tees are from Mr Price and will be worn with said shorts. The neon horse-print scarf is also from Woolies – scarves are perfect for adding a bit of extra warmth to your neck when the evenings get a little chilly. The Bikini is a Seafolly one – I’ve waxed lyrical about this brand before, they give me boobs when I actually don’t have any, so I’m a huge fan! The slops are good old Havaianas, I need to update my gold faithfuls but I think I may be getting a pair from Father Christmas which will be nice This is my fave kaftan, I bought it last year and have worn it for death on beach holidays (and also just to dinner parties over leggings)…I take off my wet cozzie after the beach and throw this on and its perfect.Just got this tote from Country Road, it is able to carry 3 towels, extra clothes for my son, a bottle of water and snacks. Practical and pretty
Happy holidays everyone, I’m off-line from this weekend, no more blogging for me for a little bit. I’ll be back early January with lots more style tips and other fashion random-ness.
Safe travels xx
