Floral prints for Summer

I love a bit of floral in my wardrobe, particularly for Summer. There’s no easier way to feel feminine than to wear a floral summer dress.

A lot of my clients say they ”don’t like floral” but when out doing their personal shopping I ALWAYS set aside one or two items in floral just for them to tryand 9 times out of 10 – if the fit is good they end up surprising themselves by liking what they look like, despite the original ”I don’t like floral” statement!

Here are some pretty prints and dresses for your Monday wardrobe inspiration :-)

Floral doesn’t have to be literal FLOWERS! The above tropical print is a little less ‘girly’, and also bang on trend. Get this one from Good clothing at Mungo & Jemima.

This dress is by a label called Linx from Zando.co.za…pretty colours and cool spaghetti straps for one of those scorching summer days.

This pretty vintage print dress is by Mint, also off Zando. Loving the Mint range of dresses..

This pretty number is from Hermanna Rush, the shape of this dress is flattering for most figure shapes as there’s a seam under the bust (empire line) and a slight A-line flare over the hips. Love the asymmetrical sleeve as well.

Get this floaty feminine shift style dress off 36Boutiques, the designer is Silver Spoon. You can play around a bit by wearing a belt with this dress.
I LOVE the classic 50′s styling in this dress by KlukCGDT, also available on 36Boutiques, it has structure whilst also having that easy-wearing appeal. Dress it down with slops, or dress it up with heels.
Go and wear something floral this week! x
